Rooftop/ NYC / Bon’A Parte

A few weeks ago I moved in this cute shared apartment in the East Village in Manhattan with my friend Bex Sheers (Fashion Stylist). Bex and I met in Sydney years ago when I had just moved from Melbourne up to Sydney. She is one of the most talented stylists I know off and I owe her big time as she found us this cute apartment and dealt with all the shit like internet-connection, electricity, etc. while I was working in Europe.

Our Address turned out to be like the „Harry Potter Trainstation“, so it was quite a hassle to begin with, but since we found out that we even have a rooftop where we can tan and shoot little stories, we love our little place even more.

As a pay back for all the hassle my roomie had, I coloured her hair and while the colour was processing, we taned and hung out in the sun on the rooftop. We replenished ourselves with water and almonds plus flicked through the Styleguide New York from Sibella Court, who happens to be a mate from Bex, in order to find a nice caffee for brunch.

Even though NYC is not Sydney, never forget to put sunscreen on your face, SPF 30 at least (Daylong Ultra Face). Use some Bronze Universel De Chanel to look sunkissed and boost your skin with Immediate Moisture Facial Hydrosol from Aesop. In order to make your clutch and bracelet stand out even more, spoil yourself with a manicure or simply put an amazing handcream: my all time favorite is the Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm from Aesop.

BTW clutch and bracelet are from Bon A`Parte. Those guys are from Danmark and they have very cute clothes especially for a summer-beach-holiday. Check them out.
