Sailor manicure deluxe at Paintbox in NYC
When the nail-salon Paintbox opened in NYC, I was booked to do the girls hair&make-up for the opening-event. Julie Kandalec, the Creative Director from this high-design nail studio in NYC, is a nail artist and manicurist from my agency Bryan Bantry. This is how the connection was made.
Months later I asked if I could feature this studio as it is inspiring and extraordinary with their seasonal collection of thoughtfully-edited nail designs and colors reminiscent of runway and editorial trends. Their newsletters with their new designs always wanna make me go again. That visit I got spoilt with a cute sailor design and you can see the process in the gif attached. We decided to go with the color of the year 2016.
