Dolce & Gabbana Haute Couture Fall 2013, Venice

It was a dream coming true:
I had to take the train from Milano to Venice early in the morning. While I was living in Milano years ago, I had always dreamt about working on the italian Haute Couture Shows. Who would not dream about working on one for Dolce & Gabbana…? The palazzo, where the show was happening in, was like a set for a traditional venitian maskerade.. The fairytale happened after preparing the models all day. Guido created this beautiful soft and feminine hair-up: a bun like in a painting. To get the over 60 models ready took all day. They sprayed rose water, lit the chandeliers, life classical piano music was played and the show could begin. The Models were like floating through the Palazzo. One of the days in my life I will never forget…

Head of hair: Guido Palau

Die Maske auf dem vorletzten Foto – ist sie von Sergio Boldrin?
