I recently produced this soft, young and innocent story with my friend Christian Blanchard. He is an australian photographer, born in Perth and based in Sydney now.

One of the good aspects about living in NYC is: everyone from the beauty-fashion-industry comes here at some stage, even if it is just for a short visit. And then you get to work with all your favorites again.

I adore Christian Blanchard‘s work, not just because of his cinemagraphs – even though they are very special and worth checking out. I love his spirit and energy which he communicates also through his work. We are friends since I moved to Melbourne 7 years ago and this friendship inspires me on all levels.

I love about this story the combination of the natural “Victoria‘s Secret hair” and the funky, cute “raver buns”. Seen on Björk, Gwen Stefani and Miley Cyrus. The sported mohawk also made it to Marc by Marc Jacobs‘ spring/summer 2015 collection and will be one of THE trendy hairstyles next year especially amongst youngsters.
