This year in January, during Berlin Fashion Week, we were lucky to cover 5 german designers back-stage and find out about their hair and make-up looks right before the show.

Augustin Teboul showed their a/w collection together with the opening of the exhibition “Sounds of black”. We will share snapshots from the event in one of the next posts. I have attached other links though which show two other projects we already realized with the two designers earlier.

We will provide you today with a Gif and the step-by-step which will make it easy for you to recreate this beautiful metallic smoky eye with a silver and a rusty brown. All colors and products for the Make-up are from Mac. Thank you Mac Germany for making this project possible.

Also please check out this sleek and super cool gelled french twist on top of the models heads. Maria Gibert did magic with her camera again. She came up with this beautiful Gif and the photos attached. The photos show how the smoky eye works on different people. It also seems that they did not use silver on one or two models but a cool brown instead. This is great for a more intense finish.

Step-by-step

1. Create with the eyeshadow base a good foundation for the eye-make-up
2. Crimp lashes
3. Silver pigment on the upper lid and under the lashes on lower lid. Blend carefully.
4. Eyeliner in bronze in the inner lid on upper and lower lid to frame eye
5. Rusty brown pigment in the middle on upper and lower lid
6. Put lots of mascara on upper and lower lahes
7. Separate lashes carefully with a clean mascara wand and give lashes a good shape.
